Honda's new 2023 CR-V improves on the CR-V's strengths by offering improved handling, comfort, safety, and fuel economy. Additionally, the 2023 Honda CR-V offers excellent interior refinements and new Body Stabilizing seats that further enhance the new model's comfort. The CR-V was already known for its comfortable ride, but this new generation is even better.
There is more space and more comfort inside the new Honda CR-V than ever before. CR-V's new exterior and interior designs continue the success of the previous CR-V. High-quality materials produce an elegant vibe, while the overall size of the CR-V is still proportionate enough to navigate traffic and parking lots with confidence. Inside, legroom has been increased by 15.2 mm on the redesigned CR-V and the rear seats can now recline up to 8 degrees.
Despite already being one of the largest compact SUVs in its class, the 2023 Honda CR-V is even bigger. There is more cargo room in this CR-V than in any previous model, with 1,028 litres. This space can be further increased by lowering the load floor to 1,112 litres. The seatbacks can be folded 60/40 to expand the cargo space to 2,166 litres.
A new hybrid powertrain is the big news for the new CR-V, however. A 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine combined with an Atkinson Cycle and two electric motors make up the new hybrid engine. This engine generates 204 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. As far as Honda CR-Vs go, this is the most powerful ever built. It also has a lower fuel economy rating than the turbocharged four-cylinder with a rating of just 6.0 litres per 100 kilometres.
There is still a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine available for the previous CR-V that produces 190 horsepower. This engine has been significantly improved, however, specifically to enhance fuel economy. Regardless of which engine you choose, you will be impressed by the brand-new Honda CR-V and its long list of improvements.
The new 2023 Honda CR-V will be available later this year. Give us a call to learn more!
